We’re currently looking for a Customer and Cloud Support Engineer to be in charge of the Cameleon Cloud platform administration and maintenance. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, creative, detail-oriented, organized and pro-active with a strong ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Customer and Cloud Support Engineer interacts with customers to analyze issues, replicate problems, and coordinate resolution to the customer’s satisfaction. This position involves front line support, issue management, escalation, and reporting.
Responsabilities
- Provide day-to-day level one and level two customer support for all products.
- Prioritize and manage tasks, incident escalation and reporting to maintain corporate service level agreements
- Work closely with global support organization and professional services to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all customer support incidents.
- Manage the delivery of software fixes, service packs and upgrades.
- Monitor and administrate the Cameleon Cloud platforms
- Weekly manage Cameleon Cloud platforms maintenance windows
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 3 years experience in customer support and/or Linux system administration
- Technical understanding of J2EE web applications (JBoss)
- Good operating system and database skills (Linux, Windows, Oracle)
- Ability to work on multiple complex technical issues at the same time and meet deadlines
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of the team
- Ability to work on shifted hours and occasionally during week ends
Job location
The ideal candidate is located in the Chicago area and must be authorized to work in the United States.
